The next instalment of the #ROG4Creators campaign with ASUS’ Republic of Gamers brand is here. The continuation of the successful collaboration, this time under the name ROGINMOTION, combines the passion for gaming with the creative field.
How do you create the attributes of a video game character and then transfer them to digital? The main competition was a real challenge for the participants. They proved that ROGINMOTION is a project made for them. The task for the main competition was to create a character in 3D. The prize? Professional equipment – the ROG ZEPHYRUS M16, gadgets from ROG4CREATORS and refresher courses at MAG seminars.
With the help of animation experts and industry influencers, we prepared tasks for the participants, thanks to which they created unique 2D and 3D projects. The role of ROGINMOTION ambassadors was played by MAG Seminars’ Art Director Wojciech “M4GIK” Magierski and illustrator and animation specialist Łukasz “Prozure” Baginski.
The experts successfully promoted the campaign with their knowledge, commitment and loyal social media followers. They shared their years of experience in creating digital work with the participants.
We know that motion design is a very small field, so it was with great surprise that we once again broke the record for participation. We reached our target of 123% – there were 245 unique creators!
This time, in addition to creating the mechanics of the competition and running the campaign, we designed a unique website. The previous editions allowed us to collect a lot of conclusions, materials, summaries and advice. We brought them together on a single platform that also became a learning hub for the contestants and beyond.
The Hub acts as a signpost for future creatives experimenting with digital formats. Inspiring projects with a playful flair continue to surprise participants with their imagination. They also underline the mission of the initiative – to bring together those who are not afraid to take on challenging work, and who are both precise and creative.
We knew the enthusiasts of the #ROG4CREATORS project were capable of a lot, but when we estimated the reach of the campaign, we did not anticipate such a high level of participation. The results exceeded our wildest expectations – take a look for yourself!
The power is in the group. Volunteers were asked to colour in any frame of an existing animation, giving the character the features of their choice.
From the works submitted by the participants, we created a unique video collage, highlighting the creativity and commitment of the project participants. See the result!
