Decathlon is a global leader in the production and distribution of sporting goods, with stores on 5 continents, including 50 in Poland.
Decathlon makes sport accessible to everyone. We are proud to have been a part of that mission since 2017. We’ve put all our efforts into strengthening the image of the brand and its products in Poland, and showing Decathlon stores as the ultimate finish line for any sports enthusiast.
Our cooperation can be split into two stages, the framework of which is determined by the implementation of different communication platforms by the Client. In the first one, we built positive associations with sport and local activities, on social media channels. Our ideas led to a spike in reach and engagement, but what features brought about such big win on social media?
We follow more than just sporting events to always find the best RTM content. We refer to current holidays and events, viewing them form a sporting perspective, to show that we understand our target group and are then able to communicate to its wider sensibilities.
We love being active. We bring our infectious offline energy to our online actions, creating games and activities that have engaged users since the very beginning of our co-operation with Decathlon.
We’ve carried on the momentum and keep on running with Decathlon! We’ve prepared subsequent social media campaigns and also produced content in various forms for the new “Sport works” platform
Since April 2018, we’ve created all Instagram content for Decathlon. We want each post to form a larger whole, emphasizing the professionalism and uniqueness of the Decathlon brand. The grid format allows every visitor to the Decathlon profile to see an aesthetic spread for each sporting discipline. The posts also work as individual images.
Social Media is an integral part of product campaigns. In our projects, we make sure that interesting content is only the smoke. The fire beneath is always the value of the given product and its features. On Instagram, we’ve worked hard at curating our product display, creating a unified background and highlighting the key features both in images and in text.
We don’t stand in one place. This is a feature we bring to social media as the basis for videos—an essential sales format in the smart phone era.
We promote our activities for Decathlon brand in original ways on social media. For example, our “Crown of Polish Climbs” campaign used modern mapping and 3D techniques.
We invite influencers to promote numerous product campaigns, significantly heightening interest in what is on offer.
We create our campaigns using Decathlon’s video and image library. The large base of natural pictures is an ideal starting point for creating a wide range of assets.
The whole Neon Shake team loves sport, so our work with Decathlon mixes work and pleasure. Outside of work you’ll find us running, playing rugby or throwing the frisbee; in the office we’re always ready for the next challenge from the client.
